As a boy's family approaches financial struggles, possibly loosing their home, his early childhood imaginary friend reappears. The story flashes back to the first time his family was homeless and Crenshaw first appeared in his life. Now, when facing the same dilemma, he finds this imaginary friendship invaluable.
